The Aston Martin Vanquish – Possibly the Best GT??

2013 marked the centenary of Aston Martin, this was a year that they knew they had to develop something special for the Super Sports Cars world. With the previous 1oo years of producing some of the most beautiful and desirable sports cars in the world, 2013 gave them the opportunity to mark that achievement with the production of the “Vanquish”.

The Vanquish was to be the flagship model of the Aston Martin range, the finest that they had ever produced. A replacement for the DBS it was to be the most expensive and most luxurious car ever made by Aston Martin. The engine was a massive 5.9Ltr V12 565bhp. monster that delivered a top speed of 201 mph, and acceleration of 0-60 in 3.6 secs. Its origins were quite obvious from the DB7 of 1994, the aluminium structure is largely the same as the DB range, but all its body panels were made of carbon fiber reducing the overall weight by 150 pounds.

Qualified by Aston Martin as a GT car, it also has a coupe version the Volante, all the same thrill and power but with added bonus of open top driving, well depending on the type of climate you live in!

The Vanquish has a ride that is exquisitely smooth even when on loose roads like gravel surfaces it holds corners which allows for a superior driving experience, the are three damper settings – normal, sport and track, each delivering its own unique driving memory to suit road surfaces and conditions.

The 2015 Aston Martin Vanquish has that upgraded V12 from the DBS series easily competitive with other super sports V12 GT’s like the Ferrari Berlinetta in fact 30% more.

The NEW 2015 Vanquish has an upgraded engine controlled by a touch-tronic eight speed gear system, its body structure comprises of space grade aluminium carbon fiber [like the 2013 verison] and has a brand new start-of-the-art infotainment system taking driver an passenger cabin enrvironmental controls to new high tech levels and comfort.

Whilst most of the 2015 Vanquish remains unchanged, the rear end and exhaust cut outs are more refined. Also there new body colour options and upgraded alloys.
